The farmhouse

The farmhouse

Hebron Hill is situated on just over one hundred acres of mixed woods and pasture. It was established in 1952 as a place of refuge and regeneration, open to people from all walks of life. Over the years, this has been a gathering place for celebrations, reunions, and relationship-building. This place has also served as a respite for many who have sought the solace of its gently rolling fields and forests. In this tradition, the property will be made available for public use by groups, events, and individuals.

Emerging research indicates that intentional time in nature provides myriad health benefits and has been shown to reduce stress, promote resilience, and enhance vitality. Committed to preserving Hebron Hill's legacy as a place of healing, rest, and renewal, we have partnered with the nonprofit Schuyler Springs, Inc. in order to offer affordable accommodations to those seeking a space of solace and peace.

The Property

An abundance of wildlife, native ferns, mosses, trees, and wildflowers provide a soothing environment for retreat and regeneration. With 20 acres cleared for sustainable agricultural practices, the majority of the property remains pristinely forested, laced with streams, springs, and trails.

Conservation of the valued flora, fauna, and habitat found here is a priority. We are dedicated to preserving the unique biodiversity found on our property and have taken steps to protect our property through a conservation easement with the Virginia Department of Forestry.

Renovations

We aim to bring a new level of vitality to the property, making improvements with minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape and the overall character of the property. Structural and mechanical improvements to the original farmhouse were recently completed including HVAC, insulation, and electrical wiring.
